Honu is the Hawaiian word for the sea turtle. For many cultures it has been a symbol both of earth and water, of stability and transition, of a self-contained sense of home and a regular and necessary migration. In this world, we often find ourselves adrift, our sense of home gone askew, too busy with the day-to-day hustle to give ourselves time to breathe, let alone practice self-care. At the Harbor, I invite you to make the massage table your safe haven for awhile and take some time to rediscover your sense of balance before heading off on the next leg of your journey.
